new requests...

St. John's has asked for donations of clothing for the Clothes Closet Outreach, a sister ministry to their food pantry. New and gently used clothing of all types is needed and the Greater Bridgeport Deanery churches are asked to participate. If you have clothes you can donate, place them in a bag and leave it in the church library (first floor of Lewis Hall). Gail will take them to St. John's with the weekly food pantry delivery.  This outreach will be ongoing!  Thank you to all our members and neighbors for your donations.

grace—the cereal church

Food donations are brought to St. Luke's, St. Paul's and
St. John's Food Pantries in Bridgeport.

Grace has been delivering canned goods and other food donations to St. Luke's / St. Paul's and
St. John's Food Pantries in Bridgeport for a long time. Although they urgently need food donations
of all kinds, one item that seems to run out fast is cereal. Knowing this, our generous donors like to
include several cereal boxes in their drops. We proudly accept the nickname, "the cereal church" and
continue to maintain it by stocking the shelves the best we can with cereal.

There are collection baskets inside the main entrance of the church.
Worship Service in Church is suspended but the building is open for food donations.
Please leave your donation and a box or more of cereal and shelf milk,
inside the red doors of the Main entrance.
We will deliver your donation.
Thank you. Bless you.
